Biodynamics at the winery / Presentation / Grape varieties of Alsace
Fresh and subtly fruity with floral notes. It is a wine which open quickly. It is at the same time freshness and softness.
Dry, refined and delicately fruity, with an elegant bouquet of mineral or floral notes. Acknowledged as one of the finest white varietals in the world, it is a gastronomic wine "par excellence".
It's recognized by its great aromatic complexity. This powerfull wine, full-bodied and with a long finish develops characteristic flavours: apricot, dried fruits, honey, forest floor and sometimes slightly smoky notes.
You have the feeling to crunch the grape. The freshness and the touch of bitterness contribute to the spontaneity and the harmony of the wine.
Full-bodied and well-structured, is probably the most famous Alsace wine. Its intense bouquet displays rich aromas of fruit, flowers and spices. Powerful and seductive, sometimes slightly sweet, it can often age well.
The only Alsace variety to produce red or rosé wines, characteristically fruity with hints of cherry. Vinified as a red wine, it can be aged in oak casks, which adds greater structure and complexity to its aromas.
